Set your decoy (and your call/"speaker") in a opening; but with enough cover that they feel comfortable to come in to your set up.

Don't even bother if you don't KNOW that they are in the area !!!

I try to hunt the edges and keep the wind in my favor. Hunting in a dead calm area is a no no for me. I get busted everytime. Be normal, a farmer does not sneak down a fence row, he just walks in and out. In the woods move slow and dont break any sticks. I will call a few and wait ten. A typical stand is 30 to 45 minutes. Look for parts instead of the whole dog.
