Lets meet at about 1:30 by the fishing seminar area (between there & the MNR).
I will be wearing a red & grey polar fleece pullover & tan cargo pants as weel as the black ball cap described earlier.
If it is not to warm in there I will also have on a grey jacket with 'Streetiques' on the back & my name is on the sleeve.
Hopefully you can find me.
See you at the show

Review: 2002 Toronto Sportsman Show
Went yesterday, overall I enjoyed it. Pretty much what I expected; mostly fishing, boats, and 4 wheelers that I can't afford.
12$ per adult, 9$ to park. You may want to pack a lunch because 2 slices of pizza and 2 ,cokes cost me almost 13$ at the PizzaPizza stall.
Only one exhibiter displayed firearms (Gagnons) while a few had bows, lots had knives, clothing, lures, tents etc.
There places to acquire your boating operators lisence, raffles, fishing seminars, and lots of beautiful dogs (Jack Russel races are hilarious).
I had the pleasure of meeting mtbyak (Kirk) who helped steer me towards archery, I really think the get together is a good idea and hope all you others can get something together.

It was a pleasure to meet you as well Trevor.
As I said yesterday if you have any questions do not hesitate to fire them my way.
Hopefully the next time we can get some more of the folks from here together.
I think that the pig was the best at the agility course though
We really enjoyed the dogs as well & I think the family has decided on the type of dog that they would like to get from comparing them at the show.
I was disappointted that there were not more archery dealers there (especially traditional) but we did get a few items that we were looking for.
It was expensive but then what isn't these days.
Straight shooting

Sorry I missed you guys, I was there around the same time on Saturday. We probably walked right by each other a few times and didn't know it.
Overall the show was alright, the dogs are always a favorite. I also really enjoyed the Birds of Prey display near the MNR. It was good to see Gagnon's gun display, Hunting is also a part of the outdoors but it seems over the years the Sportsman's Show has avoided those types of displays in favor of camping etc.
Just my two cents.

Adrian,
We heard & saw you but did not talk, I was there with my family & bought some cedar arrows, a trad armguard & glove for my wife & daughter at the Bow Shop.
Wish I would have known it was you & I would have told my son that he could go & tell you to be quiet as he was very irratated with the noises (don't think he is going to be a turkey hunter )
hopefully next time we can talk.

Thats a shame we all didn't hook up, 340 & Boss, you guys have got to check this board more often!
I excused myself by you a few times Adrian, I was looking at the box calls, we probably did pass 340, Kirk and I met at the birds and I was in that area for a while.
Kirk & Boss, you guys can expect some questions from me soon because I'm looking at bows and have my 1st wild turkey season coming up fast.
(Hopefully my shotguns fixed before turkey opens).
