is the economy to blame for this awesome forum tapering off to so few posts ? or is it the fact that they closed access to the satelite tracking of the bou ? maybe its that i check the forum every day. i know the economy is hurting some hunters this way and without the satelite tracking that kills the (will they be there when i get there) conversations but i have been looking forward to some of seasoned bou hunters wisdom as i get closer to my first trip nov 15-17 . have any laws changed ? should i get the tarmidgon liscense and if i do can i hunt them with a 22 rifle? are they good ?taste like chicken? ihave read all 190 pages but some of the posts are a little old to be planning a trip by. thanks for the shared wisdom

the tree hugers made the provicial gov. close down the satelite tracking site ,till march ..we the hunters paid for the collars that the caribou wear around they're neck ,and now we can only guess where they are ..but you can go and check the satelite map for 2006-2007-2008 and get a ganeral idea where they are ..and yes take ur .22 for the ptarmigan the bag limit is 10 in all per day . they are considered small game ..the meat is dark red and very good to eat .pic below is of a few i shot .
