Default ARE we lucky or what?

My son has been waiting a week now for his Bull tag that he drew. It really got us thinking if he actually drew in , because everyone we knew had received their tags. I even went as far as check the lottery results again!
Wednesday afternoon the phone rang. The person on the other end was requesting to speak with my son.
They had told him that the envelope STUFFER put Mike' s bull tag in someone else' s envelope The person has returned it and it will be in the mail box in a couple of days!
Saves me a big hassle trying to track down the tag [:-]

Surprised they even called. That' s pretty good customer service for the MNR, a government agency.

Gotta love tag release days, " its the most wonderful time of the year" .

Questions for ya bud. If that person wouldn' t have returned the tag, could he have used it? Or are the tags hunter specific?

Figure out if your bringing a grouse gun? Are the rest of the guys in this forum aware of this rule? []

About 44 days and counting.[:-]

Nub
The tags are hunter specific, but it would have been a pain in the A$$ trying to get it all straightened around.

Yes we have decided that the .22 will come along. So the Canadian route is our way up this year!
U.S. Customs is really making it impossible for a hunter passing through to do so without alot of redtape involved!
ALL I WANT TO DO IS HUNT [:' (]

If anyone has questions about taking guns into the US. They can call Detroit ATF 1-313-393-6000 or The US Bridge Customs 1-810-985-9541
