The bugs were incredibly bad the first night (8th) when I shot the bear. The weather was warm most of the week and we only had rain on two occassions. The rain made for a nice time to take a quick bath in the lake without the bugs around!! :-)

I was quite pleased to take this 140 lb bear with my bow! It's only the second bear I've taken and the first was in PA in my backyard (120 acres of woodland I hunt behind my house).

It was a great trip! I look forward to when I can do it again.
