Thanks Mr. Duck for the info. Just might have to go for a ride out to Dugald. What time does it start and where will it take place...?

The prices for guns were really high. Most people were complaining about that fact. I managed to nab 500 Remington 10ga. wads for $30.00, a brick of badly needed large rifle primers for $25.00 if I remember, and 600 6mm 90gr bullets for $60.00.One guy even had a 10/22 bolt buffer for $18.00!
Best I could do.

I would have gone but desided to go to the Evergreen Gun Club's Drayton Valley Gun Show instead. (here in west central.Alberta)

There was a two piece stock for a Sav. 99 that I was interested in. I have a 99 that someone home built a new butt-stock for it. The price was too high for my likeing and the home made stock is actually well made and interesting looking.

For rifles there was a Win. M 100 in .284 that I liked the idea of. And a savage bolt-action in .300 savage. A couple of nice bolt-.222s.

A book by Jack O'Connor (rifles and shotguns) that I already have a copy of.
Some great electronic preditor calls but we cannot legally use them here in Alberta for hunting.

Turned out I didn't buy a thing. But enjoyed the show nonw the less. Two Gun Auctions coming up in May though.
