Any of you Canucks hunt gobblers..??...
A few years ago I made friends on a turkey hunting forum with a fellow who lives in Prince Edward County near Picton, Ontario...Since then he and I have swapped turkey hunts every year... I go up and hunt with him and he comes down here to western NY and hunts with me...
I plan to drive up next week and hunt the first few days of the season...I like the difference in terrain...Up there it's flat and we concentrate hunting cedar pastures and field edges...Down here it's all hilly and up and down and we hunt mostly mature hardwood ridges...

Two weeks till I'll be out there, I can't wait.
I just dropped a bundle on a new blind, and have changed over to my full choke and big fixed broadheads.
1hr N of Toronto.

tschaef; you need to come over to the Bruce. I was up this weekend and the turkeys are abundant. They've even lost fear of humans as was published in the Wiarton Echo.
