Sounds like a good idea guys.

I have a few huntable pieces of property, one of which belongs to my family, one of which is private, and the last of which is in the middle of no where. I think I may even be worried about putting a cam on private property?

If wonder if Wal-Mart Canada sells those cams, if that were the case then Id be up for it.

Hia - Are you already in a Deer hunting team? Just curious, as I saw your pic.

Regards

I have gone the other way on game cameras, at one time I had 3 camtrakkers (35mm versions before the digitals were even a possibility). In a word frustrating, you seeI would find myself standing in my driveway deceiding which way I would go & worse when I got there I would think about why I should be elsewhere. Ok maybe to much of a good thing but after chasing night ghosts for a few years I just had to rid myself of them little suckers. I still find myself standing in the driveway flipping quarters and whenI get there why I can't split like an atomto be in more then one place but at least I don't have them pesky pictures to thumb through any longer to remind how stupid I really am. I tell you the more I hunt the less I know!! At some pointI hope luck will finally pay me a visit, untilsuch time I'll just keep "kickin' it oldschool" and second guessing myself along the way. JD, Great now you'll provide all these wonderful pics in and out of the field...best of luck bud I do enjoy your work!

Hia, you honestly think they'd make up an allcanadian team? If so, I vote for you being the captain and fearless leader..good practice for your life as an educator!!!!!

Ag, I assume Hia is also entered in the bow contest on this site. He is very close to the forest which has 2 either sex whitetail limit. I have no doubt his plans are to fill both those tags again this year[8D]. Walmart did have some cameras here a month or so ago, never noticed the brand or price, sorry. You can check ebay as well.

JD and Rocky, this Nov I'll be up the 11th - 19th, it's a week later than I hunted last season. Maybe we'll have some snow this time!
Rocky, I'll be staying over night atthe Holliday Inn Express in Nisku again, I'll land in Edmonton at 2:30PM on Sat the 11th. During the week I'll be staying in Stony Plain. Is this a hot area to be hunting near?
I think this will be Jeff's last season guiding for whitetails in he Zone because I noticed he removed his web site. I think he'll be strictly guiding in BC for bear and whatever else. He's in BC right now.
Hey Rock, did you just come out of hibernation?

hmm ever hear that country song "I click rewind"? lol oh well gotta pick up where we left off. Goin home tomorrow after a professional development workshop, skippin the last hour to be home by 6pm sask time. Gives me just enough to get out to my land with the rifle and hunt thepark for an hour. Got a goose hunt set up with my bro saturday. I haven't hunted with him since i was a little kid so pretty pumped he is coming home for the holiday to take some notes on huntin from his lil bro Scoutin hard saturday and sunday. Want to have at least one stand hung for bow in the farmland b4 i come back to school tuesday. Might possibly set somethin up in the park as well if i cannot figure that bush buck out. Best of luck to you boys and for christ sake lets get some deer up in this thread

Ah crap thedarn site changes lost my post from earlier today, pictures of my boonie Mulie. I sure wish I neverclicked yes whenthe puter message read "Are you really ...no really, really SURE you want to delete this?????"[:@]

Haha...

MULIE...DOWN....MULIE DOWN...I busted my Savage's ML cherry this morning. Did a sneak on a buck he was awesome but passed b/c well to early totag andjust todamn easy for this irish boy.(late edit-got taken away from the post fora secand forgot to enclose the following statement - I passed the buck because he was boderline - Hia I was thinking about you bud...opps sorry you can carry on now, I am not quitemental ward material...YET) On my short cut back to where I parked the truck I noticed eartips in the brush(not bush (early in) but brush) and it was on, the best I could do was get to 125 yards due to the terrain and her 10 eyes(actually8belonged to her other 4 buddies). I gave them a whistle but darn wind on my nose they didn't even blink, I tried louder still nothing(you'd think with them radar dishes they'd be able to hear a mouse fart at 1 mile but not today!). FinallyI did the now you see me now you don't ( stand up then sit back down). This worked and the crew got the message, picking the right one is crucial so I did what all trophy hunters would do - this little piggywent to market. She turned giving me the green light and the 250grbullet was sent on its way, making campbells in between her rib cages before exiting and she flopped to the BRUSH once again!

Going backout tonight, so hopefully. No sign of mr. nt not even a rub in is former haunt...not very pleased with this development!!!

Hia, sounds good wish you the best of luck bud.welcome back to sask!

That is great about your bro and you doing a goose hunt, we used to have a family hunt every thanksgiving on saturday, duck and or geese in the am, then a little upland and finish off with supper that night. He was a great time, however just me and my dad left now or close and dads hung up the shotgun because his hearing is pout! Keep that tradition going and pass it on to the younger ones, if it weren't for my dad, grandpaand uncles I doubt I'd beas into the outdoors as I am today.

Fella's hold back on the cake would you...it's just a doe. Thanks, it wasn't even in my brain but when opportunity knocks sometimes you have to answer! Felt good knowing everything is on and dropping #1 with the new pole.

Tonight saw a4 typical, first impression was it just maybe go timebut he didn't get the memo I guess and gave me the slip. I deceided to try something different and now wish I didn't as I won't get out till next week. I left my pard at the area I was this morning & he filled 1 of his doe tags. So a pretty good first day.

LMAO JD.

Hia,want to bemy wingman? LOL I'll give her the old UofS try fo sho!

AG, it was a tongue and cheek comment...little haha. No post, pictures or delete key[]! Typical mulie doe, goofy ears and all.
