Looking for the nicest deer in the US is like looking for the best American hockey player, best you are going do is 2nd place. Can't compete with those Canadian bucks
You must think John Laclair was from Canada.

Ya that John LeClair 26 points in 44 games might not be number 1 on in the points race but as long as he is still number one in your heart

Let's not be petty here... We all know the best hockey player of all time was indeed a Canadian by birth (Ontario), but played for Bruins. Even my staunch inlaws here remembering la grande histoire des Canadiens won't rebuff this fact.

I actually had dinner with him once... One of the best moments of my life.

As far as John Leclair; great player... but more importantly, I don't think there has ever been a more momentuous switch of a fan base taking place as what happened to the state of Vermont when John was traded from Montreal to Philly. It was overnight... Very admirable. Even the restaurants went from serving smoked meat and poutine to philly cheesesteak sandwiches in less than 24 hours.

Cheers,
