Default So... who has the itch?

I don’t know about anybody else but we just had our first snow fall and man do I have the itch for deer hunting something fears. I know, I know it’s early and the snow won’t last. Is anyone in the same boat as me or are you all cool cats with lots of patients? Maybe it’s because of the new equipment, I’m anxious to use!

Ive tagged a small 2 pt mule, and like you am eagerly awaiting the snow/rut for a few big mules I have my eyes on and them whitetails emerging from their typical ghostlike behaviour.

I go nuts when it snows, just love hunting when u can see their recent movement.

Same here Trailer. I got the first week of ML booked and just found out I also have the first week of rifle season booked. It`s going to be a long wait.

Itchin' like crazy and scratchin' it. Been muzzleloader hunting with my wife the last week for deer. We have seen 13 bucks, only one that she would shoot, about 140". She has never killed a buck before, but won't kill one she won't hang on the wall. Hopefully this week, she breaks out the .270WSM today. The snow has helped knock down the grass in the marshes and makes it easier to see the deer. Man I love this life!!!!!!

Oh yeah...I am full blast deer thinking now. The first hunting itch has been taken care of with elk in sept and just returned from our moose hunt! Both were successful and hoping it will spill over to whitetails, which I absolutely love hunting.

ML season is now open here and rifle in Nov....so looks to be a good couple of months of dreamin' about bucks!

Best of luck to all.
