Red dot sadlak?
Currently I have sadlak and leupold VX3 on my standard and its suits me just fine for Target shooting. Recently talked to a family member who’s soon going a hog hunt in Tx and asked him if he wanted to borrow mine. If he decides to take the offer I’d like to put a red dot on it for him. His friends told him a semi-auto is the rifle of choice on their hunts. I think it’s blind hunting. I offered my Rifle to him to use for that hunt since he only has a bolt gun in a hog worthy caliber.
Question is, how easy is it to mount a red dot on a sadlak and if they’re good mounts for a RD?
I’d rather not have to buy a new mount. Any other advice welcomed. Thanks
