Default Ziess 3-9x50 wind age issue

Just purchased a new Ziess 3-9x50 Conquest with Z-Plex reticle but will not zero left to right. Still 1" off needs to go left but is bottomed out. Any help would be appreciated. Mounted on a 7mm Mag BAR

Before mounting the scope, count the "clicks" left to right - - set in the middle; then mount the scope.

That way you have the full "range" of "clicks" in either direction.

easier way! turn to lowest power, stick scope against a mirror and look through it, you'll see the reticle and a reflection of it, turn the knobs till the reflection is directly behind and lined up with the reticle, the scope is now mechanicly centered.

Ridge,

It sounded to me like he has run out of "clicks".

But I love that technique for "bore sighting" !!!

yep, most likely a flaw in the rings or the receiver is drilled crooked, a set of millette windage adjustable rings will fix it
center the scope install the rings, mount the scope, when bore sighting use the windage adjustment in the rings to get it as close as possible, then fine tune the zero with the turret adjustments.
