Rangefinder problems
#1
Hey guys,
I have a Bushnell Yardage Pro Compact 600. It's been a good one but this past year I noticed that the yardage is off....alot. I first noticed it on the golf coarse and thought "that thing is off" but never paid it much attn. Today I measured my archery target to the inch. My range finder wont even read inside 22 yards and then it reads 17. Back at 30 yds it reads 21 and at 40 it read 22 yds.
I tried a new battery but that didn't help. Any suggestions???

I have an older model given to me because the previous owner couldn't keep batteries good in it. Turned out the button was too easy to push and the slightest contact caused it to range. I called Bushnell for an answer, new to us was all I got.
I put a plastic milk jug lid between the button and the soft case, problem solved by Jerry Rig, not Bushnell.
It was free can't complain but I thought the CS was poor.
Looking for an answer to your problem seems to turn up with the question being asked, but no answers. Bout the same thing I got before Jerry fixed mine.
