I prefer the Swaro's for just using the binoculars. the Geovid's ae not the better Leica's with the LRF. And IMO the Leica's with the LRF are a bit too heavy. I almost bought a set myself with the LRF because of the great price. However the weight of the binocular for what you were getting(not the best Leica) just turned me off of them.

I would not trade my Swaro's for anything I have ever looked through(so far). However I will admit that my next optics purchase is going to be the Leica 1200 LRF. And I realize I will be carrying two pieces instead of one. However I use my binoculars alot without concern to knowing ranges. So the weight of the binocular wins out for me. Tom.
