I recieved that e-mail from them a couple weeks ago.
Doesn't surprise that Leupold came up with some new models.
They are basically all designed and enginered off of the Meade Redfield line that Leupold bought the rights to.
Same as the new Simmons Line,Bushnell took that one over from Meade.
I'm sure the new Weaver line will be introducedshortly from ATK who bought those rights from Meade as well.
Yeah Cabelas won't be the only onesditching oldermakes and models, by end of spring and summer , prices will be slashed by half of what you see now just about everywhere these outlets can make more room for the new ones.

I buy a lot of stuff from Cabela's, like their products, quality and customer service, but their scope prices are not comparable to other on-line stores even when on sale.
