Default Help with Triumph ML Scope mounts

I need help with what scope mounts I need for my TC Triumph muzzleloader. I 've been looking and most want a solid steel base. If ya'll could post some suggestions with model numbers that'd be great. Thanks to Stretch56 for the info, I just ordered a Nikon Omega with Nikoplex reticle from Natchez SS they had on sale for $149.95!!! I'm so excited I can't stand it. I need to go ahead and get my mounts so I can get her set up and see what loads she likes to shoot!! --DrAsus

I was at Wal-Mart looking at muzzle loading stuff they have on clearance they have a couple of different Thompson / Center universalscope mount rings & bases there. 1 was the see-thru set most people don't like them & the other was a standard mount. They were on sale for $15.
I know most of Wal- Mart stuff is junk but these have T/C name on them & said American made I would think they should be alright.

I was on the DNZ website and I believe that stock # 10016 is what I would need if I got their product. They are medium rings with extended eye relief and since my Nikon Omega has a 5" eye relief I'm probably gonna need it. They are about $57 bucks from their site...any online retailers have them for less????? How do these compare to Talleys?--DrASUS

My vote goes for Talley, but thats what i'm using. I haven't had a problem with it plus the camo on it matches my gun and scope pretty well.

Well the Talleys and GR Ded Nutz are about the same price ($55). Talleys are made in SC, Ded nutz in NC. hmmmmmm---drasus
