I have a TC Omega Z5 and would like to purchase a scope for it this year. I mainly use my TC for deer hunting and most of my shots fall within 100 yards. I have looked at the BDC vs Nikoplex reticles and I am leaning more toward the Nikoplex just becuase of the thicker reticle. The two scopes that I am considering is the Nikon Prostaff and the Omega. What's your preference? Do any of you have the Prostaff on your muzzleloader? Do you like it? The Prostaff is $100 cheaper. It is a bit longer than the Omega and doesn't have quite the eye relief which are things to consider. I would like to know your thoughts and ask is it really worth the extra $100 for the Omega?
Thanks

Think about a Burris Short Magnum scope. Have one in four power on my .50 Encore and it works great. Made in the USA too.
The Nikon Prostaff is a good scope. My CVA Staghorn has worn one since 03. It has heldup under about 500 roundsof Pyrodex.
