I havethe Nikon Pro-Staff 2-7x 32mm shotgun scope. I use it on a Rem 870 with a 23" rifled barrel mounted on the cantelever scope mount. It is a very nice/accurate scope. Ilike the Hornady SST slugs. First time hunting with it last fall, I shot a large whitetail right through the heart at 110 yards while sitting in a tree stand.

Scope costs around $130.00.

I am using a Weaver 1.5 - 4.5 x 30mm shotgun scope on a Winchester Model 1300 12 gauge shotgun; 8 round - 2 3/4" capacity magazine, 24" smoothbore barrel with improved cylinder choke. Shooting 1 ounce rifled slugs with excellent accuracy to 75 yards. SST slugs very accurate to 125 yards. Have taken 27 Russian - Eurasian - Feral boars with this outfit so far, plus six deer.

Bushnell holosight. No magnification, but very fast acquisition and where the dot is, that's where the slug goes. The 65 MOA circle is great for the 50yd shot. You put that 30 inch circle around the front shoulders, the dot and the slug are through the heart. Mine is on a Benelli Nova, cantilever rifled barrel.

I have a Leupold 2.5 x 8 VariX-III, on my 12 gauge H & R Ultra Slughunter. If you are going to shoot any of the new longer range sabot rounds, I would go with something around this power. Don't scrimp on the scope though, 12 gauges are hard on scopes, buy a good one or you will be sending them back to the manufacturer to replace/repair reticules.

I have a Nikon Pro-Staff 2-7x 32mm shotgun scope. There pretty accurate scopes. They hold up really great compared to alot of other brands. I have had some nice shots because of this scope.

I never mounted a scope on a shotgun, but thats just me. I have a couple 870's and my wingmaster has a 26" improved and I can put a slug in a pie plate consistantly at 100 yrds. My other 870 has a 30" barrel so it reaches out without a scope. Great turkey gun.
