Ok I kinda new at the optics part of a hunting.... When I was younger my father always did the sighting in and told me all I had to do was aim and squeeze the trigger...now I have a few questions. There are fixed scopes and what else. I have readmany posts on here and still baffled over optics. HELP Please!!!

Fixed scopes are set at one power being 4x, 6x or so on. Variable scopes can change power from 1 to 4, 2 to 7, 3 to 9 and so on...
