i am gettin realy antsy to get to the worlds shoot and our room reservatioin isnt untill wednsday but me and my girlfriend have nothing to do after moneday so we where thinking of maybe goin down a day early and camping out tuesday night, anybody know of a place that has a campground on or near the mountain??

There is a campground right beside Silver Creek Lodge. It is more intended for RV's and pop up campers. I don't remember seeing to much grass there so you better take something soft to sleep on. Kind of chilly in the mornings up there , but really nice in the evenings. You could probally call Snowshoe and see what it would cost you for a night. Believe me that nothing is free down there. Have a good time.

Just rember if you do pitch a tent to look out for bears at night.I am ready for the world to cannot wait.Good luck to all that are going
