I know last year was messed up because of the rain, but how exactly do they do the scoring at the Worlds under normal conditions?
How do you get to the finals on Saturday? Is it just the top 10 shooters out of every class? Does your score go back to 0 like last year or get added on to your exsisting score? Is it 10 targets only?

The classes that shoot multiple range combinations go back to zero. Theoretically that is only MBO and HC.
All other classes will carry their score forward.
Tie breakers are not used to get into the finals. All ties move on.
They will count for your final placing.

This is only my second year going to "the worlds" and I shot in the trophy class last year. I am shooting in the money this year, but am not familiar with the finals. Would it be possible to get a more in depth explanation of how it works?

the top 5 scores from each class advance to a 10 target shoot down on saturday, weather permitting. you will shoot 2 separate ranges. one on thur, one on fri. the combination of those scores will tell you if you make the shoot down on saturday. some classes have multiple combinations, the mbo shoots 3, and possibly the hunter class, but i do not know that for sure. the top 5 scores from those combinations will advance.
the saturday shoot down should be a 10 target range, with your scores shot the previous days carried over to that day. the ones who shoot multiple combinations will start on sat with a score of zero.
the scores are normally posted at the shaver center as soon as they get compiled on friday night, usually after 8pm. get there early, and be patient as there will be several hundred folks there checking how they did as well. best of luck to you.....

Thanks for the info. You all are great at responding and answering our questions.
As for the posting of scores. Isn't there a better place to do it other than on that small balcony at the shafer center? I thought people were gonna get knocked off it last year.
