I have been offered a sponsorship by a online archery shop, I am trying to decide if i want to do this or not. I wqould rather shoot for a local shop but the only shop around, they wont give me a break on anything and they say they wont untill they start getting lots of people coming into there shop saying i have sent them. the other problem i have with this shop is the owner i feel is ethicaly corupt he would charge a newbie double if he thought he could get away with it, and the manager his son who runs the shop i also feel is just a moraly corupt person he has told me stories about him self i would have prefered to never here.
so what do all of you think i should do? would shooting for a online shop and taking buisness away from him still be bad for the archery world?
Its not like im a bad shooter i take 1st at almost every shoot i got to.

I wouldn't take a sponsorship from someone or something I didn't believe in. Likewise I wouldn't be a shooter for an online shop while sending customers somewhere else. I feel stuff of this nature is a big problem in archery. People taking the best deal just for that reason. You need to shoot products for companies you believe in and not because it's free. Just my opinion on sponsorships.

Pup, I would only endorse a product that I believe in and back up a manufactor with integrity. Remember this, your good name will associated with that product and its manufactor. Same holds true for shop owners and their wrongful deeds. Make the right choice even if it costs you a few dollars. Money comes and goes, but a reputation will follow you forever. Take care and hope you have a wonderful and fruitful day.

Sounds to me like you have a no win situation>>>------>To shoot for a local shop whom you don't believe in, or shooting for an on-line shop for which there will be no personal affiliation.
My recommendation would be to just continue having fun, and shooting very good the way you have been----just enjoy it without having to obligate yourself to anyone.
Good luck with whatever decision you make !!!
Just my two cents worth !!!
