Well, the 3rd leg of the Southern Triple Crown is over and Pensacola was great! The weather was fine and met a lot of great people as usual. I think Wetumpka was very enjoyable and challenging. I enjoyed the rolling hills and the variety of shots offered. Rome was no picnic at all! A lot of tough shots and mentally challenging as well. Probably the hardest of the three for me. Pensacola was a good mixture of a variety of shots. The only problem with Pensacola was that I forgot to bring an umbrella on Friday and paid for it. It was tough shooting into the darkened woods from the bright sunlight. The guy that sets up these courses is not going to make it onto my Christmas list this year(LOL). Even though I did not shoot as well as I had hope for my first ever triple crown, I will be back for next year's shoot!

All of the Southern shoots were great. I like the laid back attitude and the friendliness of most of the shooters. As with any event, you will always have those that would rather cry than have good time, but they too will come around. After all life is not a bed of roses. Rome was probably the toughest for me, Pensacola was not the terrain I expected, and Wetumpka was just great. Hope everyone has fun at the next one. Be blessed and may the Lord keep His hand upon you all.
