Hoyt dealership
I visited an Amish archery shop today on my way home from work, they sell Matthews, Hoyt and a couple of smaller lines of bows. I was amazed at the inventory of Matthews. Anyway I asked about the new Hoyts (2004) wondering if they had any, when they would be gettong them? Was told that they could not sell any more Hoyt's because another dealership had complained that they were to close to them? I was wondering what the protected area is? Also if the area is protected than why was the amish dealer allowed to get a dealership in the first place, or could it be that other dealership is greety?

RE: Hoyt dealership
The way I understand it, hoyt never had protected areas before. The sales rep for another bow company told us he had heard that hoyt was going to this system and alot of their dealers were being eliminated. Anyone could sell hoyts before, we have several in this area(2 or 3 in the same zip code). Whenever someone was interested in a hoyt a bidding war breaks out with each dealer trying to give a better price than the others. Our shop sells mathews so we don't have alot of other dealers breathing down our necks!
