Default New IBO Sponsors

At the last IBO world championship, Ken made the announcement that the IBO was working on gaining some major sponsors ( Bass Pro, Suzuki, ect. ) I would like to know how that' s going and if anything has been finalized.

Nothing final yet.
You know about the gift certificates, so we are making progress.

With the World Championship as big as it is, why aren' t we getting ESPN coverage or even located coverage? Do we have any smokeless tobacco sponorship? Has anyone talked with the Big 3 (auto?) The hunters purchase numerous 4-wheel drives annually.

After last year at Snowshoe (my first World event) I was wondering the same thing! This is definitely a big money event and the number of people involved certainly rivals or surpasses some of the bass tournaments that OLN, ESPN, etc. cover on a regular basis. Considering the huge audience of dedicated archers in this country, I don't understand the lack of network interest. Also, with the heavy involvement of women, youth, and international shooters it would seem perfect for national sports media coverage. Finally, camera work would have to be easier standing on the ground (even on the slippery slopes at Snowshoe!) than on a rocking boat. And how many bass tournaments have a chair lift???
Is there any way that the membership could influence the networks? A letter-writing campaign or e-mail barrage perhaps? I'm assuming that the IBO would want to encourage this type of coverage. Is this true? Has there been coverage in the past?
Thanks.
Still looking for my first deer of the year....
