Default Indoor Worlds

Has anyone shot the IBO Indoor Worlds? What can I expect? I heard they move you right along from one target to the next. Do you shoot 20 targets one day and 20 the next or all 40 in one day? Thanks for the input.

HOYT MAN, YOU WILL BE SHOOTING ALL FORTY IN ONE DAY. MY FIANCE AND MYSELF SHOT IT LAST YEAR AND I JUST THOUGHT IT WAS A BLAST. PARMA ARCHERY CLUB DOES A REAL FINE JOB OF SETTING THE COURSE. YOU WOULD THINK YOU WERE OUTSIDE. THEY DO MOVE FAST, BUT NOT AS FAST AS I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE AS FAR AS SHOOTING, I HAD PLENTY OF TIME. THE ARROW PULLING IS SOMETHING ELSE THOUGH, YOU REALLY GOT TO RUN DOWN, SCORE, PULL, AND RUN BACK. I WOULD SUGGEST IT TO ANYONE. BY FAR THE FUNNEST SHOOT OF THE YEAR AS FAR AS SHOOTING GOES. AND A PLUS, NO RAIN, ITS INSIDE, AINT IT GREAT!!!! THIS MIGHT BE THE ONLY ONE YOU DONT GET WET AT NEXT YEAR, SO YOU BETTER SHOW UP.

The running back and forth is self inflicted. Some guys hurry back to get their yardage. Then more hurry along to not let anyone get ahead of them. They will not start the line, or ask you to hurry up if the timing is reasonable. Take your time! Enjoy your self.

On behalf of the Parma Archery Club; Thanks for the kind words. I am a member of Parma Archery and I can tell you that the Indoor World is a primary focus of the club. Many members work very hard to make this shoot enjoyable as well as challenging for those who participate. It is also one of the few shoots that can be observed from a gallery area so, bring the family. The Sport Travel and Outdoor Show has something for the entire family to enjoy

And one of our very favorite to be at! Great group! First shoot in the area we get to see all our friends after a cold hard Ohio winter.
Remember anyone interested in shooting the I.B.O. World Indoor Championship should call us for a pre-registration form around the end of November. If we get them in the office from Parma Archery before that I will post that I have them.

Duane,

Will the Indoor shoot have a price increase this year now that it is included in the Shooter of the Year program or was the increase last year to cover that program?
