Default Mathews Conquest 3 Questions' s

My friend is going to get a Shooter bow from Mathews for next 3-D season. He was looking at the Conquest 3 but was wondering about the performance of this bow. His draw length is 29" . Should he get the Mini-max cam to reach better performance or is the Original Max cam the better performer at this draw length.

He could go with either one. At a 29" draw I would more than likely go with the max cam to gain a little more brace height. With the max Cam I believe the brace height is approx. 7.25" where as the minimax is approx 6.5 to 6.75"

Alot of people go with the mini-max. I chose to go with the max cam and am very happy with it. My speed with a 28" draw, 312 gr., 63# is 285. The bow is extremely accurate and forgiving. The Con 3 is a great choice.[8D]

I' ve had my Conquest III since March ' 03 and love it. I got mine with the mini-max cam. I shoot 298 fps with a 59# draw weight and a 300 grain arrow. (29 in. draw) The bow is very forgiving. I plan to get another one soon.

Good Luck,
