Default LIGHTNING RULES at Snowshoe

LIGHTNING RULES;

An alalrm will sound when lightning is expected in the area.

AVOID; Avoid water, Avoid all metalic objects. Avoid the high ground. Avoid solitary tall trees. Avoid close contact with others-spread out 15 to 20 ft. apart. Avoid contact with dissimilar objects (water & land; boat & land; rock & ground; tree & ground.) AVOID OPEN SPACES.
SEEK: Seek clumps of shrubs or trees of uniform height. Seekditches, trenches or the low ground. Seek a low, crouching position with feet together with hands on ears to minimize acoustic shock from thunder.
KEEP: Keep a high level of safety awarness for thirty minutes after the last observed lightngin or thunder.

Unsafe places include undereath cnaopies, small picnic or rain shelters, or near trees.
These are the lightning rules as it was posted in the officlal program, (1st page).
These rules were not adhered too. Snow Shoe sent employees through the woods to do just the opposite. For the people that were already shooting, we were told to do just the opposite. COMMUNICATION NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED.
