I don' t think anyone is upset over the suspension of shooting for safety....they are upset over the cancelation after everything seemed ok. What was the proceedure for cancelation? Why not just postpone?.....most people don' t know. That' s where the confusion is coming from. There is no plan. It is hap hazard (or so it seems). This is a rule orientated sport but yet there is no rule for proceedure for cancelation. I probably wouldn' t be as upset if I knew beforehand what was going to happen when foul weather appeared. After all a rule is a rule. But, things are just " decided" . That' s what gets my goat. I came to shoot but didn' t get a chance to. Have fun shooting for one day? Heck, I could have saved $2000 and had as much fun shooting a local shoot. Family vacation? I had my kids and grandkids along for a family vacation. We had our " family vacation" the days before we got to showshoe at another place. We came to Snowshoe to compete for the world title. Just upset we didn' t get a chance to do so.
