Last season my team placed 3rd in two of the three legs of the triple crown. All the team members received a plaque (MBO). My team in Bedford placed 3rd this season and we did not receive anything? Have the awards changed? If so why? $40 per team with 15 teams is $600.00 a shoot, I think a nice plaque for the top 3 teams is resonable.

JUDY: I just called the office and spoke to Pat, she said that only two places were awarded plaques. We placed third in bedford so I quess we receive nothing. I was just wondering were does all the team money goes if the Clubs are only awarded 8 $12.00 plaques? I don' t want to come off like an idiot but in the MBO class alone you must generate $1800.00 per season from team money. After the $200.00 in plaques and belt buckles ( for overall) who keeps the rest. It seems that the top 3 teams(Win, Place, Show) always in the past received plaques, now it' s two , then it will be one. We placed 2nd at Erie, so maybe we will receive something for are donation ? I hate to come off petty but it really looks bad for the IBO to cut 4 $12.00 out of their budget, You have to give something back to the team shooters, the $40.00 team fee is not a donation.

I do not shoot on a team, but I cannot believe that the third place award for the individual triple crown events has been discontinued. I realize that funds meet worthy needs, but come on guys, is it really necessary to go this far to raise extra capital? Somebody needs to rethink this issue pronto.[:@]
