I have been told repeatedly on this site that the indoor worlds will not count towards SOY points. I never understood why, I was told it was because of the limited space available for shooters. But the numbers of shooters at Cleveland will doulbe that of any of the southern triple crown and triple the Winter Nationals. So that logic doen' t work. If their is a portion of the indoor world entry fee' s going to SOY payments then it has to count. Hopefully Bowpro or Judy4 can clear this up.

We have been through this extensively on a previous thread and neither I nor judy4 can change the program.
It can and will be brought up at the August directors meeting. But in the meantime the program cannot be changed.
The program was posted on the web site months ago. It has been explained in the magazine. There was no secret to this. It is listed under 2003 Shooter of the Year Program on the home page.

The outline for the shooter of the year program was posted on the entry to the IBO pages under the News heading. It outlined the shoots that are going to count and the amount that would go to the program.
I am going strickly by memory but I thought that I paid $40.00 entry fee and that was increased $5.00 this year. I too was told that $2.00 of the entry fee was to go to the IBO for the shooter of the year program.
It is all memory now so lets look forward to the remainder of the year and make your suggestions to the State Reps prior to next meeting in August.
