2 Questions for the Worlds...

I have two quick questions for the Worlds. First, for MBO and the shootout Saturday... is it the top 10 placements, or the top 10 scores that compete on Saturday? So if there are 5 people with a 400, does that count as 1? Or if 400 is the top total score, does that count as 5 of the top 10?
Second, for the Best of the Best, Limbsaver shoot off, or the Eagle Eye deal... are they setup for spectators to be able to watch or video tape from bleachers or what not?

1. It is the top 5 SCORES in each class that will be shooting off for the World Title in their class. Tie scores count as one, so you will have more than 5 shooter in a class shooting off (at least in the bigger classes).
2. Yes, the IBO Limbsaver "Best of the Best", the Limbsaver Shoot off and the Easton Eagle Eye are all set upfor spectators. And yes you can video tape them.

Thanks for the reply Judy. Looking forward to watching those shooters go at it.
It looked like the scores from last years World allowed for more than the top 5 scores to go. Is that a rule change for this year, or do I not understand it correctly? As far as awards or payouts or what not, how far down the rankings does that go?

There may be more than five in the top five scores. (hm-m that sounds strange)
Ties are not broken for the finals round.
11's count for the final ranking but not to make the final. There may only be five, but there are usually more.
400
399-12
399-06
398
397
396
All of them qualify for the final

For the last few years MBO and HC both shot 2 out of three possible ranges, and the top shooters from each possible range combination made the shoot off. (A/B, B/C, C/A)Thats why you see more scores in those classes for the finals. This year, as I understand it, those classes will be contained on 2 ranges like all other classes. It's not a rule change, just range management to balance the ranges properly, and utilise the resources we have available.
