BowPro, does this rule change not effect the RU class? I would have thought they would have gone back to the white stake too?[:-]

With the inclusion of the changes for face walking and string walking into the RU class, and all that they entail. Was' nt felt that RU needed the change.

The change is for MTRD,FTRD and HR.

I have a feeling that this will make the HR class very competitive. Still, the best shooter should win. Everyone else will just be closer to the top.

Bill, I would say that you are correct on the HR class and this will be good for the sport of Archery. I know we have received several more comments at our local club of shooters who are tired of being ask to shoot such long shots all the time.
I respect the pro shooters but this sport needs to remember that not everyone has the time to perfect the long shots or time to practice many hours so they feel more comfort at a distance more suited to their skill level. I think it is great that these classes will remain at the white stake, those who still want the longer shot can move up to yellow stake classes.
