More Classification/Equipment ?'s
Judy - I was pleased to get my 2003 Yearbook today - thanks a ton!!!
I was perusing the classifications & have 2 questions -
1) MBR - what's the max # of pins on a fixed sight? 4 or 5 or ? There isn't specific mention of stabilizers & things mounted to the 'back' of the riser - are there any restrictions?
2) YMR - I have a JR that would like to shoot - he has an 'open' bow - long stab, scope, release, compound etc... Is this all legal in YMR 15-17?
Thanks!

RE: More Classification/Equipment ?'s
Not my son - just a kid I'm trying to help and trying to coach - but - as with teenagers <img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle> they already know it all<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
Interesting classifications... Then the only difference between MBR and the 'open' or pro ranks is the scope's & moveable pins right...??
Thanks - I just don't want to show up & find out something major has to change with my equipment for me to be legal - Thanks!

RE: More Classification/Equipment ?'s
N23D,
I have read your post. I believe I understand it ok. Here is a question. Extreme came out with a sight last year that has a lens that you can screw into it. However it is a fixed pin sight. I know that it would be against the rules to shoot with the lens in that class. However if the lens was removed and the shooter had a clairifier peep still on the string how would that be viewed? It is a lens. I don't know that you would want to shoot like this, but the potential could be there. Would it still be considered a lens?
Just thinking and typing!

OBS - The clarifier question was presented to me about a year ago . . . if I remember correctly . . . you can NOT use a clarifier.
