Arrows
I am going to be shooting my first season od 3d next year (hunter class).
BT DC Pat 60# 28" draw, Muzzy ZE, Extreme x19 100 sight not sure of Stab yet will have to wait till I shoot the bow.
My question is are my Gold tips 5575 GT's going to be good enough or should I get some Gold Tip 3d Pro 5575??
Or would you suggest another arrow?
Thanks in advance

RE: Arrows
i shot them in 3d and the only thing i disliked was they pulled out of the target kinda difficult. and i didn't notice any thing wrong wiht there flight. mainly pick what is good for your bow. if not gold tips i would try redlines. gold tips are cheap and i won alot of shoots with them

RE: Arrows
Use your goldtips. If you enjoy it as much as I did you'll catch yourself trying to find an edge everywhere you can. The hunter class will limit you somewhat. If you will rub a piece of bar soap on the tip of your arrow before you pull it they will come out easier.
Good Luck,

RE: Arrows
Consider trying gold tip 3555's. I use them with a 28" at 70lbs and they shoot well (85gr tips). The 3555's also picked up some speed.
I've used gold tips for some time now and won't spend the extra money on 3-D pros. I use XT's. They are just as accurate as 3-D pros, but considerably less expensive.

RE: Arrows
Ausie-guy, I ran your setup through archers advantage and the 5575 are showing week in spine for a patriot dc. To get better spine I would shoot a 7595 with 100gr screw in point at 28"long. this arrow will put you in the green on spine. also another arrow that will shine ok and shoot faster is the carbon express 300. It is the same spine and is around 50gr lighter. spine is very important in tuning an arrow for optiomal preformance. I hope this helps. Bowjunkie

PUP, the price thing is what I thought but I put the money into it instead of waisting arrows figuring it out. from the first time I used the program I have had no flaws in getting arrows tuned for perfect flight from hunting to competion. It was well worth the money. Bowjunkie

Bowjunkie.
My arrows are cut to 26.5 inches.
It really does not bother me about the weight of the arrow or the speed realy cause a well placed shot is going to find the mark anyway<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
