Consider trying gold tip 3555's. I use them with a 28" at 70lbs and they shoot well (85gr tips). The 3555's also picked up some speed.
I've used gold tips for some time now and won't spend the extra money on 3-D pros. I use XT's. They are just as accurate as 3-D pros, but considerably less expensive.
