I was wondering for those of you that have shot the northern and southern triple crowns what the difference really is. Also is it possible to shoot 40 targets in one day up north?

I was in Florida in the early years and at Rome a couple times. The STC shootshave shorter shots on average and the walk between the targets is much shorter. The NTC has the possibility for a lot of up and down shots. Some of the ranges are pretty flat and some are very steep. The ranges are rotated and targets are changed so you never know until you get there.About 300 or 400 shooters finish on Friday each year. If you try to shoot them all on Sat. you will need to get an early start. Hope this helps and look me up in GA. if youhave more questions. Pete

Thats the national triple crown some of the best in the nation will be there, but I guess the only difference is if you're going there to try and compete don't miss.

Yes you can shoot all 40 in one day I do it all the time. I have a bad shoulder, that well not allow me to 2 days in a row with out being in a lot of pain. Start early and shoot stright thru. LOL TZ
