RE: IBO Winternationals Update
i just saw that winternationals has been moved from ft worth to my hometown about 30 miles south of ft worth. i would suggest you get reservations to stay in burleson, tx 76028 (if you're not planning to stay at the beaumont ranch)and dodge the ft worth traffic. burleson's about 10 miles south of ft worth and 20 miles north of grandview and the beaumont ranch.
both burleson and grandview are located on i-35w. burleson has several motels and restaurants (most located right on the interstate--chilis, on the border, pancho's , cracker barrel, wafflehouse, and others)
grandview is a really small town with no lodging except for some really nice rooms at the beaumont ranch.
burleson has
days inn located on i-35w just south of burleson, tx 1-800-325-2525
5 star inn--located on i-35w about 5 miles south of burleson towards the beaumont ranch 1-817-447-1271
if you're planning to stay at an rv park, i again suggest the rv ranch. it's about 5 miles south of burleson on i-35w (right by 5 star inn) if you plan to stay there, you need to call for reservations soon as a lot of the stock show people stay there. the rv ranch is a very, very nice rv park. (if you call, please tell them i recommended them. i'm sandra horton.)
rv ranch
2301 s interstate hwy 35w
burleson, tx 76028
1-817-426-5037
see you there!

RE: IBO Winternationals Update
I'm just wondering why the site for the Winter Nationals was changed? Seems to be a great looking site if you ask me. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

joel, i'm just guessing, but i think they moved because of space. there's more parking space, etc... at the beaumont ranch. i do like cowtown bowmen's range and will miss shooting it, but knowing them, they'll make sure we have a great course. theirs is an outstanding club dedicated to archery and to making everyone feel welcome.
