Default brace height vs. A-to-A

Which do you think plays the biggest difference in forgiving shooting charactoristics? Ive always shot a bow with a brace height over 7 inches. Which do you think would shoot more forgiving? A 31" A-to-A with a 71/2" brace height, or a 36" A-to-A with a 6 1/2" brace height? Whats the brace height and A-to-A on your bow? Which do you think plays the biggest role in your accuracy?

THAT IS A LARGE CAN OF WORMS!!!!!!
IT DEPENDS ON IF YOU ARE ONLY GOING TO HUNT WITH IT OR KICK YOUR BUDDYS BUTT ON THE 3D RANGE OR EVEN INDOORS. IF THE HUNT IS ALL YOU ARE THINKING OF ,IT JUST DONT MATTER ALL THAT MUCH. BUT MAKE SHURE YOU USE A LEVEL ON BOTH. NOW ON THE OTHER HAND IF YOU WANT THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS, I THINK THE 36" A TO A WITH ONLY 1/2" SHORTER BRACE HEIGHT IS THE BETTER CHOICE. I SEE ALOT OF SHORT BOWS ON THE RANGE BUT THE HIGHER SCORES ARE BEING SHOT WITH THE 36 TO 38" A TO A BOWS. NOW IS THAT JUST THE SHOOTERS???? ...... YOU BET IT IS !!!!!!!

THAT IS JUST MY INPUT
HOPE IT HELPS

I think I'd go with a bow that had the longer brace height and shorter axle length for hunting. I think most forgiving bows are the ones with the longest axle to axle length and longest brace height. The longer axle length tends to help tighten groups at longer distances for me. I dont think i've answered any of your questions yet. Right now i shot an MQ-1... when i was shooting diferent bows i also shot the MQ-32 which those of you familiar with mathews now is pretty much the same thing as an MQ1 only 5 inches shorter. and 1 inch longer brace height. my groups at 20 yards were consistently tighter with the MQ1 than the MQ32. but that could have just been me and what works for me is not necessarily what works for everyone else.

KY BOWHUNTER, FIRST, LETS START BY ASKING WHAT YOUR INTENSIONS ARE WITH THE BOW IN QUESTION? IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD HUNTING BOW, WELL I'D GO WITH THE SHORTEST BOW I COULD HANDLE AND ONE WITH A BH OF AT LEAST 6". IF YOU WANT A SUPER ACCURATE BOW FOR 3D, WELL, THAT IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT BALL GAME. I PREFER A BOW NO SHORTER THAN 39" AXLE TO AXLE WITH A BH OF AT LEAST 7" IN LENGTH. AS FAR AS TO WHICH PLAYS A BIGGER ROLE IN ACCURACY, BH OR AXLE TO AXLE; I WOULD HAVE TO GO OUT ON A LIMB AND SAY THAT BOTH PLAY AN EQUAL PART IN ACCURACY. HOPE I HAVE HELPED YOU.
