It was brought to my attention that no one got awards for 2nd and 3rd place finishes in all the hunter classes.Man if that is true then the IBO made some money that weekend.Maybe that's why everyone is starting to go to the ASA.There were probaly 50-60 shooters at the last ASA said they wasn't going back to the IBO.Now Ken I've been a member of IBO for a long time, and I've always kept my mouth shut on things, but what is happening? Are you loosing your touch or what?

I sure have met allot of fine people shooting both ASA and IBO. Before all the IBO worshipers start getting defensive, tho..........believe me when I say I have no problem with the people of who love it. I shot at Nelsonville last weekend, I shot an ASA State champ/qual this weekend. And ASA has to be the most shooter friendly all around experieance for beginers to the hot dog 12 ring snipers. IBO has challenged me..........and shown me that I am never gonna hunt from the ground and shoot a coyote w/out a rangefinder, or a small doe 48yds uphill and across the draw. How 'bout the standing bear on J or K, 50 yds and turned toward the right, leaving no 8 ring on the left, back of the bear. The trend on that target was low right in the 8. I went for it, i'd already lost 2 arrows......"no guts no Glory". Now would any of you all make a shot like that and aim for the ten, to prepare yourself for an upcoming bear hunt in Cananda? Guess not, most shot it for an 8. truthfully 90% of you all who bowhunt deer, make a 20yd or less shot from a treestand. Once again, I do enjoy the people at any 3-d event. The fella's I shot w/ were super fun to shoot w/ and no whinning at all, even me (guess the weather was to nice for my ASA lovin butt)...........and very good. On Sunday, I shot w/ the dude who shot even in MBO. Darned Hoyt bows.......[8D]
