Default I need some help for IBO world Titles.

I am coming over to the IBO World titles and need some clarification on your rules. In Australia (where I shoot) I use in Hunter Class a Cobra single pin sight that moves on its axis for height adjustment.

Our 3d association allows this type of sight to be used in tournaments over here and I want to know if I can use the same sort of sight in hunter class in the world titles.

I am also told that my bow can not shoot arrows faster than 280 fps and I have to slow my bow down to this speed. Is this true even though I am still within the regulations of 5 grains per pound?

I am so looking forward to coming to the States and would also lookforward to any help from anyoneregarding accomodation around Snowshoe mountain.( I have been a bit slack on organising that)

By the way, I would like to shoot the ASA shoot in Georgia two weeks after the world titles for IBO and wondered can I use the sameequipment?

Any advice would be welcome

Check out these sites... www.ibo.net and www.asaarchery.com

They will get you the rules and class classifications. Moveable site will put you into one of the open divisions in either event, and you will need to qualify for these tournaments as well unless you are shooting in a trophy division in IBO.

There is another thread on here that gives you the snowshoe mt, web address to give you info there.
