Just a little constructive criticism to offer...
1. Course setup.I shot E-F-H-G last year inHC and then moved up to MBR this seasonto find thatMBRwas shootingon courses E-F-H-G this year. Almost every target was set in the exact same place this year as last. I was calling out what the upcoming targets would beand sure enough when we'd turn the corner there it was.I've heard on here several times in the past that the ranges are set randomly at each event but there's no way this was a coincidence. Obviously the yardages are different & no one would remember what they were anyway. So its obviously not going to impact the scores or anything but a little variety would make things a little more interesting.
2. Two-Minute Rule. We shot E-F-G on Saturday and had less problem with the 2-minute rule than I've seen in the past. Then we only had H to finish on Sunday. However, the Pro Male Fingers guys were also on H on Sunday. As you walk down to H-1 you pass several of the stakes for the H course and we noticed that the course was empty as we headed to the beginning. When we got to H-1 there was one Pro group shooting and a second Pro group waiting to shoot. There were only 4 shooters in each of their groups. They were averaging about 18 minutes per target with no-one in front of them.
Now, I realize thatcriticizing the Pro shooters in our sport may be unpopular. And I realize that they pay a little more to shoot than mostof us. And I know that theyhave a little moreto lose thanmost of us. But if there are rules in the sport then they should be followed by everyone. Especially by those who we are supposed to be looking up to.But if it is deemed appropriate for the Pros to take whatever time they need then they all need to be placed on their own ranges where they can do their own thing.
I don't expect to run through a course. I like to take my time & enjoy the group and the event. But taking nearly 3 hours to shoot 10 targets is completely ridiculous.
Overall it was a great shoot and the weather was perfect for the first time in a long time. I'll keep shooting the IBO events as long as there are IBO events, but I think there is always room for improvemnt.

Hey, the 2 minute rule is for everyone, whether we pay more or not. I know, I be one of those paying more. They harp on us about the 2 minute rule and I do try to abide by that. I hate waiting and don't like making others wait. Anyone should be able to judge and shoot in 2 minutes. If you can't figure it out after 2 minutes, I doubt you will. :-)
I feel your pain, been there, done that....
Take names and report them to the range official next time. There can't be range officials at every stake.
