I am interested in trying to compete for a spot on the international team. If I travel to Wetumpka, AL and shoot the 1st leg of the southern triple crown, then will I be able to use that score? I will be quite upset if I travel down there to use that score, and then the rules change in March, and suddenly that score will not work for 3DI. Also, if the yardage changes from a 25 yard max, to a 30 or 35 yard max, then the AL shoot will be signifigantly easier than the rest of the bunch. I believe the rules should change, but I do not understand why the IBO board would wait until March after one tournament to make these decisions when they could do that during the winter meeting.

I do not mean to sound critical, I just hope to get some answersbefore I take off work and spend a bunch of money to go to a tournament I would not otherwise go to, only to find out that the rules change.

by all rights it should count because everybody else had the chance to shoot it also. they can't take it away from you because the rules haven't changed as of yet.

ISABB, the IBO board will be meeting March 4 & 5. I would almost bet that the 3DI team will be selected from the Shooter of the Year winners. In the past team members were selected from Shooter of the Year, Triple crown Winners etc. I think it would be a good idea to shoot the Southern Triple Crown, Natl. Triple Crowm, Winter National and the Indoor National. Good luck on making the team.
