Counting down the days until the first leg of the southern triple crown. I am sure that the great folks at Bennett's will do a fine job again this year. I can hardly wait as 2006 should be a great year for our southern triple crown. If the weather will just cooperate with us. Last year was one of the most unusual weather years I have ever seen. Wetumpka was fine but Rome was awfully WINDY and hard to shoot in. Pensacola was feeling the aftermath of Hurricane Ivan. I think we need to have Ken or someone place an order for some 70 degree, sunny days for the kick off of our southern triple crown events......Look forward to seeing you there.

Indeed, the Rob is looking forward to the First Leg of the Southern Triple Crown also. The Rob is planning on shooting all 40 target Saturday. It's always a very good shoot. Hope to see everyone there.

It has been a real hoot remembering how to shoot again.

That hard to do if you're the Rob...seeing as how the Rob ain't learned nothing to forget.

But it's all good......it's going to be one big ole shooting party at Wetumpka rain or shine.

Now Rob, let's don't even talk about rain. I am sure that Ken has ordered up some really nice weather for the shoot. I am looking forward to some 70 degree springtime weather that we are famous for here in Alabama. I shot in the IBO Alabama State Championships last year and it poured down rain and it was not a pretty sight. My wife and I are going to try and shoot all 40 on Friday if the weather is good. If not we will shoot 20 on Friday and then 20 on Saturday.
