Default hunting land in the NE

just an fyi to all, i recently joined an organization called Sportsman's Conservation Group , based in PA their goal is to conserve and manage properties throughout the northeast ( www.joinscg.com ) , i met some of the guys at a show in February, super people with a great program - i know many of us are dealing with losing hunting land at an alarming rate here - thought you might want to support them in there mission and gain some hunting opportunities, i'm very glad i have - we need to do something !
you can e-mail them from their site if you have any questions

hey coservationist
I too joined up with these guys. One more notch to the many clubs I belong to.[8D]
These guys are the real deal! I emailed them with a little site problem and they got right back to me. We ended up talking on the phone and I tell you…these guys are on a roll. Lets hope their membership numbers can help combat the problems we have here in the NE!
OUT!

They have a nice looking website but do they have any property now?

Nothing on the website describes any property they now own or lease.
Are they just new trying to get something started here? Not saying thats a bad thing. Looks like they have a good idea going.

hey bt,
they had a couple project properties they were working on, i remember 1 was in nc pa (old farm) excellent potential, they were looking into property along the salmon river to give their members private access to great fishing also ,and a couple more hunting properties in pa & ny, they are new this year - they have plans on opening up some properties this coming season , all depends on getting members, i guess they work with private landowners who grant them ownership when they raise enough money to conserve it - great idea, if you're planning on hunting into the future i would join - they plan on limiting their memberships i believe
