Hello, Brokered leases here in Western NY mostly in Cattaraugus County and Chautauqua County are going for $6-8 dollars per acre. Here is a link to a lady who is brokering them.

For lease in NY try the International Paper company, they lease a lot of land in NY especially in the Adirondacks. I see your near Rochester so I would try to see what lumber companies own land in the area you want to hunt. A good place to start is a town tax map. Another lumber company to try is Cotton-Hanlon. Here is a link to there lease information. They lease a lot in the Finger-lakes region.

Absolutely, any information that can be provided with regard to leasing land would be greatly appreciated. Cannot afford to buy as of now so a lease would be great. Any advice of such things like 1)price per acre; 2)written lease agreement; 3)regarding access, type of game to be hunted, etc
