Wow, what a weekend! 3 hrs. to Harrisburg Saturday AM, 10 hrs.at the show, then to Bass Pro for the heck of it (very nice store). Late dinner and overnite in Grantville. Then off to Cabelas for 5 hrs or so. And for good measure, we stopped at Gander Mt. in Scranton and then in Johnson City! Talk about outdoor stuff OVERLOAD
Anyway the show was good, once again. The crowds were not bad at all. It got pretty crowded (not as bad as I've seen in the past) for only about 2 hours in the middle of the day and other than that it was very reasonable. Didn't spend much ($25 for a bipod). I thought it was "neat" to be able to talk and listen to (face to face) people such as Chuck Adams, Jim Zumbo, and Will Primos & Brad Ferris (also saw Keith Warren). I sat through Chuck Adams' 1st talk - ended up being just a Q&A session, but was very interesting. Adams says 1) shoot longer bows (37+ ATA) 2) research outfitters completely 3) release make for better shooting 4) Coues deer (pronounce COWS) is the hardest big game to bowhunt (for him) in NA 5) only practice every other day 6) doesn't like carbon arrowa at all 6) and much more. Real interesting stuff.

Sounds like a dream trip to me...
. I have not made it down to the show yet but plan to go one day next weekend. Had I known you were gonna be at Cabelas I could have been stopped by as it is only a few minutes down the road from my house.
I am very eager to head to the sports show again this year. It is neat to have all that information and gear in the same place at one time. Hopefully I will have as much luck as you with the crowds.
