I attended on Sunday morning 9 AM. Total time: 1:35 minutes. My permit will be in the mail on Monday.
Interesting notes:
- no hunting bears from airplanes
- as of today...no public land hunting. However, the Water Gap and the Newark Watershed are open.
- some guy raised his hand and asked a question about eating bear heart and liver[:'(]
Who owns the Newark Watershed?

Please contact Newark Watershed and let them know you support the bear hunt.

By the way, hunting from an airplane is much more difficult than it seems. Especially if you are flying solo.
