NJ Bear Course: Just Returned
 

I attended on Sunday morning 9 AM. Total time: 1:35 minutes. My permit will be in the mail on Monday.

Interesting notes:

- no hunting bears from airplanes;)

- as of today...no public land hunting. However, the Water Gap and the Newark Watershed are open.:)

- some guy raised his hand and asked a question about eating bear heart and liver[:'(]

Who owns the Newark Watershed?

It took us that long just to sign in, get a seat ,and wait for the room to fill.

By the way, hunting from an airplane is much more difficult than it seems. Especially if you are flying solo.

Yes.
This year there were about 500 new applications or first timers. That was the number in my class at one time when I went to the seminar.

Picked mine up today. They will be mailed soon if you don't want to pick it up from the seminars.
