Made the trip to Wheeling Saturday. WOW what a crowd!! It was wall to wall people. The store was no disappointment either. Well stocked well laid out and the staff was very knowledgeable and there was plenty of help even in spite of the huge crowd. Beats Basspro by a mile and Gander by 2! Found everything I was looking for and spent a bundle!

Actually, I was passing by and had some time. Love places like Cabelas but HATE crowds. I survived though!

I'll be making the trip down there soon enough, can't wait. gotta get there before gun season

I went to the one in Hamburg PA 3 weeks ago. One lesson I learned ... set yourself a spending limit beforehand and leave any extra cash/credit cards at home. LOL.

I'm going to Wheeling on Saturday to fight the crowd! I wish is wasn't so busy, but in my experience with Cabela's stores it's not going to die down for a long time.

I go to the hamburg store frequently and from experience.... it does not matter what day or time you go it is still busy. I was there when it opened last sunday and when I arrived there were about 100 people milling about waiting for the doors to open.
the good thing is they have enough staff to deal with the crowds
